Abstract: | Japan's Support for Reconstruction of Bosnia Let me begin with summarizing Japan's efforts to support Bosnia's reconstruction. Japan has consistently supported the United Nation's efforts under Special Representative Yasushi Akashi since shortly after the conflict in Bosnia and Herzegovina began. Furthermore, at summit meetings and other initiatives not directly associated with the United Nations, we have contributed to the effort to achieve the Bosnia's peace agreement in cooperation with the U.S.A. and other countries. |
