Abstract: There are interactions between archaeology and geology, particularly in the Quaternary period. Geomorphologic, stratigraphic and lithologic evidences are used to decipher the Quaternary environmental changes and level event in the coastal areas of Phangnga and Krabi. sea The data suggest that relative rise in sea level up to 5,700 B.P., with height of 4.5 metres above local mean This has an important effect on landform development.
