Abstract: The geomorphology of the South is characterized by three massive on the western coast near groups of limestone hills in three main areas: the Andaman sea (in Phangnga, Krabi, and Trang Provinces), on the mainland between the two high granite ranges (in Surat Thani and Nakhon Si Thammarat Provinces), and on the lower area near the Thai-Malaysian border (in Satun and Yala Provinces).
