dc.description.abstractThe Japanese Occupation of the Philippines (1942-1945) is among the best studied and most documented periods of contempo- rary Philippine history. Historical works on the period of cerned varying length, importance and scolarship touch upon many aspects of the Japanese occuppation. A few of these works may be mentioned here. Agoncillo 1965 and Hartendorp 1967 have written general works touching upon the military, political, economic and social aspects of the Occupation.en_US
