This paper will focus on the concept of values. Values are derived from cultural and/or religious beliefs. Malaysia prides itself on being a multiracial, multicultural, multilingual and multireligious society. It is often proclaimed that tolerance and sensitivity to another's cultural and religious values and beliefs have enabled Malaysia to house three dominant races under the same Malaysian sun. This paper will share the results of a qualitative study based on an actual event that took place in Malaysia to discern the values of Malaysian youth. It would throw some light upon the current source of values for the Malaysian youth and the level of tolerance and sensitivity of the Malaysian youth toward other cultures and religions.en_US
