Description: The emergence of service and knowledge-based sectors has necessitated the need for professionals, such as deans of institutions of higher learning, to acquire and master soft skills. Using Rowena Crosbie’s (2005) model of leadership soft skills, this paper discusses the perception frequency implementation of leadership soft skills among deans at three Malaysian institutions of higher learning. To achieve the aim of this study, a survey research design was used to examine the frequency implementation of the eight components of leadership soft skills. Findings show that the deans only moderately implemented the eight components of leadership soft skills.
