Abstract: | Higher Education Institutions (HEls) are obliged to implement a regular internal evaluation system which has a significant effect on the improvement of teaching and educational processes. An effective system of internal evaluation bene fits both students and stakeholders, as by implementing it HEls will continuously improve their quality of personnel, programs and the learning process and will remove any deficiencies. In this process both strengths and weaknesses can be identified before improvement is made. Wel l organized, systematic internal evaluation serves as a good basis for external evaluation. Mazoon College has adopted a plan of self-evaluation to control and increase its qualitative developments. The progress the college has made over a period of time has been delineated and shows a significant improvement since the implementation of an internal evaluation system in 2005. |
