Science faculty KMUTT instructors' satisfaction with their work

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to evaluate the satisfaction of the Faculty of Science KMUTT instructors in terms of duties, environment, security and safety, and compensation and we lfare. The tool used in this research was the questionnaire which had alpha coefficient reliability 0.965. A sample size of 50 persons was chosen by stratified random sampling from 96 instructors in the departments of the Faculty. It was found that overall the instructors' satisfaction was in the moderate level. The indicator for this satisfaction was 67. 71 %. Most instructors had normal stress on their works. Furthermore, the stress of instructors was not dependent on gender, and educational background. Administrators can apply these finding towards planning and supporting personnel in order to develop the Faculty of Science.
