dc.description.abstractCommensal rodent pests have a great connection with people as they depend on us to get their food and shelter. There are four species found (Mus Musculus, Rattus Rattus, Rattus Norvegicus, Bandicota Bengalensis and Suncus Murinus) in current study. It is found that the most effectives bait is by using fried chicken leftover that have the highest percentage of 38.89% compared to other baits. The placement of traps outdoor caught species all species except R. Rattus and M. Muscu/us which can only be found indoor. But all species trapped along the perimeter of the buildings. Norway rats have the highest percentage trapped in wet market (14.93%) compared to residential area (4.4%). The most caught at residential area was Bandicota bengalensis, 19.20% and the least was M. Musculus, 0.4% S. Murinus have the higher percentages in both wet market and residential area compare with R. Rattus. and M. musculus. There were no M. Musculus caught in wet market.-
