dc.description.abstractSports, a universal phenomenon, is unquestionably an area of human activity that has almost become a way of life in many societies. As a topic of discussion it has ready adherents coming from all walks of life, and no day passes without emotions running high over some issue connected with sports. Thus the theme, "Sports for All", I am presenting should have a fimiliar ring. The experts whould say that it is an easy subject to handle, and so I thought when I agreed to speak on it. However, on examining the topic my initial composure gave way to a sense of insecurity as I begin to try to give definition to the term "Sports". What is sport? Is it synonymous with play?-
