dc.description.abstract | Clinical practice guidelines (CPG) are being developed that contain evidence based best practices. CPGs are used by healthcare practitioners at decision points to make their decisions, to standardize clinical practice and to provide evidence mediated healthcare. Efforts are being made towards computerization of CPGs and relevant retrieval of the knowledge and information of CPG knowledge bases. Many attempts have been made towards the knowledge modeling of CPG to transform them in If-then-with" rules and then applying inferences to triggers the rules. In our work, in this paper, we present CSSB (context, structure, semantic based) Knowledge Retrieval and Extraction Framework and indexing strategy to provide relevant knowledge assistance to healthcare practitioners at their decision points. | - |
