Abstract: | Supply chain management (SCM) has gained importance in today's global world and has to be taken as a wide term that involves supplier relations,supply networks,collaboration and culture as well as purchasing logistics and distribution. Healthcare industry is one of the services that effective SCM plays a significant role on the success of the organizations especially since they prefer to outsource many of their subsidiary operations. which may affect the service quality and in turn patient satisfaction. Although outsourcing provides many benefits to healthcare organizations. it is also challenging. Organizational culture of the service taker and the service provider plays all important role in establishing an effective cooperation. In this paper. we propose that the cultural congruency between the service taker and the service provider affects channel success such as mutual trust. intention to continue collaboration and service taker satisfaction. |
