Pressure could compress ions to collapse and is postulated to generate electricity. In this experiment, a carpet that is made up of a piezoelectric transducer was used. The carpet with piezoelectric can generate electricity when been pressured. Single crystal was used as a generator, the ions in the crystal are being pressured by different weights. The pressure causes the ions to collapse and produces electricity due to the compression of ions until they produce charges. Charges are then kept in a super capacitor and will be used when needed, as an example, when a blackout occurs. These charges are called piezoelectricity which is the appearance of an electrical potential across the sides of a crystal when it is subjected to mechanical stress. Then, the carpet is installed to wiring inside the building. The experiments showed that a small pressure produces a little voltage while a great pressure produces a higher voltage. From the experiment, it is found that the more the pressure, the more electricity can be generated. Electrical appliances can still be used when a blackout occurs. The finding has an impact on safe energy innovation to the environment.-
