dc.description.abstractGreywater resulting from activities surrounding Tasik Chini Watershed can be used to flush toilets, water gardens and even to wash clothes. By using wastewater as a resource rather than a waste product, the amount of pollution going into Tasik Chini can be cut down. In addition, the recycle activity will reduce the stress on the septic tank system, which will work better and last longer. The utilization of reclaimed water holds the potential for allowing the maintenance of Tasik Chini public landscapes and support current and future industrial customers without sacrificing the limited supply of high-quality water. Since there is no centralized treatment service in Tasik Chini area as yet, investment in a wastewater treatment system is a necessity. Installing a reuse system may not incur significant additional expenditure. Furthermore, the regulations for reusing wastewater in rural areas are not as stringent as urban areas - there is more scope for innovation. Advanced treatment of Biological Aerated Filter (BAF). The small footprint of the BAF system allows the plants to be totally covered, which provides a solution to sewage treatment in environmentally sensitive areas. It has also the advantage of producing low odour levels and it can remedy existing malfunctioning systems and they can be a good option for homes in environmentally sensitive areas and are stable and work well for intermittent usage.-
