Abstract: Research on medicinal plant used in Simeulue Island was conducted in 2007. This research used direct observation and interview method on local people. The result indicated that there were about eighty three species of plant have been used as medicinal plants by orang Leukon in Lafakha Village, Simeulue Island, Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam, Indonesia. Most of medicinal plants used growing wild, and can be used to cure approximately 28 kinds of diseases
