Abstract

The era of free market has urged every nation to widely open their market to the world. That is way the stability of exchange rate must be developed in such away in order that our nation can survive in this bordeless era. Many factor that need to be considered to develop the stability of exchange rate. The interesting part is that the non-fundamental economic factors have a significant influence toward the stability of rupiah exchange rate. The Bank: of Indonesia as the holder of monetary policy, must not only concentrate on fundamental economic variable, but must also deal with other variable that play in the market.
