Abstract: | EnSciT learning model is based on the integration of science and entrepreneurship disciplines. The integration of these disciplines resulted in the first science learning model that inculcates design thinking skills based on science content knowledge with an entrepreneurial orientation. This model was developed from two national research projects during which conceptualization of this model was based on survey, interviews with scientists entrepreneurs, high thinkers in science and technology field, experiments of this model on students of various level and achievements and evaluation of science teachers' views on this model. This model consists of five major steps through the various learning task thus inculcating the EnSciT skills. The impact of this module has been shown to a) improved interest in learning and understanding of science, b) encourage creative and innovative science-based thinking skills, c) increased awareness of real life application of science content knowledge and d) promote active learning science environment. In this workshop, participants will tryout the EnSciT learning strategies and participants will present their creative and innovative invention. |
