dc.description | Masyarakat Malaysia hari ini berhadapan dengan pelbagai penyakit sosial, mental dan kejiwaan. Penyakit mental bakal menjadi penyakit utama negara jika tidak diatasi segera menjelang tahun 2020. Kemungkinan ini timbul memandangkan tekanan psikososial yang semakin hebat berlaku dalam masyarakat pada masa ini. Kebanyakan kaedah rawatan kecelaruan jiwa yang digunakan di Malaysia pula menggunakan kaedah Barat. Memandangkan pendekatan psikoterapi Barat terpisah dari aspek keagamaan, satu pendekatan yang menggabungkan pembinaan spiritual dan fizikal sebagaimana yang ditekankan Islam perlu diberi perhatian khusus. Merawat penyakit kejiwaan dan mental dengan menggunakan psikoterapi Islam penting kerana ia bukan sahaja seimbang dari aspek spiritual dan fizikal bahkan pembinaan kekuatan spiritual lebih diutamakan dalam proses rawatannya. Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk mengkaji psikoterapi Islam khususnya daripada pandangan Miskawayh. Kajian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti penyakit kejiwaan yang dibincangkan oleh Miskawayh dan menganalisis kaedah psikoterapi Miskawayh. Bagi mencapai objektif tersebut, kajian ini menggunakan kaedah penyelidikan kepustakaan dan lapangan. Melalui kaedah penyelidikan kepustakaan, pengkaji mengumpulkan data menerusi metode dokumentasi dan metode pensejarahan daripada bahan-bahan yang terdapat di perpustakaan. Hampir keseluruhan kajian ini menggunakan teknik analisis kandungan (content analysis). Kajian lapangan pula dilakukan oleh pengkaji untuk menyokong hasil dapatan kajian kepustakaan melalui soal selidik, pemerhatian dan temu bual. Hasil kajian mendapati bahawa terdapat beberapa kaedah psikoterapi menurut Islam iaitu kaedah iman, kaedah latihan ibadah, kaedah ilmu, kaedah intuisi atau ilham dan kaedah tasawwuf. Kajian juga mendapati Miskawayh membincangkan hakikat jiwa manusia dan fungsi serta hubungannya dengan diri individu. Selain itu Miskawayh mengemukakan faktor yang boleh membahagiakan jiwa manusia iaitu kebijaksanaan, keberanian, kemuliaan dan keadilan. Faktor yang melemahkan jiwa manusia pula ialah keinginan atau hawa nafsu yang membawa kepada kebinasaan, kejahatan yang membawa kepada kezaliman, kesilapan yang membawa kepada kesedihan serta musibah dan kesengsaraan. Dalam kaedah psikoterapi beliau, Miskawayh menekankan kaedah rawatan pencegahan dan kaedah rawatan pemulihan. Melalui kaedah rawatan pencegahan (hifz al-sihhah) kaedah psikoterapi Miskawayh boleh diklasifikasikan kepada kaedah iman, kaedah latihan ibadah, kaedah ilmu, kaedah tasawwuf dan kaedah sosial. Dalam kaedah rawatan pemulihan (rad al-sihhah) pula antara kaedah yang digunakan ialah melemahkan penguasaan emosi marah terhadap jiwa, mengenal pasti jenis penyakit, mencari punca penyakit dan menggunakan teknik konfrantasi situasi. Selain itu, melalui kaedah rawatan pencegahan dan rawatan pemulihan Miskawayh, ia dapat dibahagikan kepada beberapa teknik khusus yang lain yang bersesuaian dengan penyakit kejiwaan yang dialami. Dari sudut aplikasi, kajian ini mendapati kaedah dan teknik psikoterapi Miskawayh telah digunakan oleh wanita Islam profesional di negeri Johor dan mereka telah mengalami tahap tekanan yang rendah. Secara keseluruhannya dapat disimpulkan bahawa Miskawayh telah mengemukakan kaedah psikoterapi yang sesuai dan boleh diaplikasi dalam kalangan masyarakat Islam bagi mencegah dan merawat penyakit kejiwaan.,Nowadays, the Malaysians are faced with various social, mental and spiritual diseases. The mental illness, if not solved immediately will be the main disease by the year 2020. This possibility arises as psychosocial stress mounts in the society presently. Most of the treatments offered for mental disorders in Malaysia use the western methods. Since the approach of western psychotherapy is separated from the religious aspects, an Islamic approach that combines between spiritual and physical growths should be given due attention. Curing the spiritual and mental illness by using Islamic psychotherapy is important not only because it balances spiritual and physical aspects but also because it focuses on the making of spiritual strength in the process of treatment. This study was meant to examine Islamic psychotherapy specifically from the perspective of Miskawayh psychotherapy. To achieve these objectives, the study uses the library and field research methods. Through the library-based method the researcher collected data through the methods of documentation and historiography method of materials in the library. All of these studies mostly used content analysis. Besides, a field study was conducted by the researcher to support the findings of literature study through questionnaires, observations and interviews. The study discovered that there are several approaches practiced in Islam, such as the method of Islamic faith, the method of worship exercise, the method of knowledge, the method of intuition and the method of sufism. The study also found out that Miskawayh discussed the fact of human soul, its function and relationship with the individual. Miskawayh also dealt with the factors that may felicitate the human soul, such as wisdom, courage, dignity and justice. As for factors that weaken human soul they are desires that lead to destruction, the evil that leads to crimes and mistakes that lead to misfortune, sorrow and misery. Moreover, in his method of psychotherapy, Miskawayh emphasizes the preventive method and remedial approach. Through prevention (hifz al-sihhah), Miskawayh's psychotherapy can be classified into the method of faith, the method of worship exercise, the method of knowledge, the method of intuition and the method of sufism and social rules. In therapeutic approach (rad al-sihhah) the method used is the weakening of uncontrollable emotions of anger, search for the cause of disease and the use of technique how to confront the situation of a patient. Furthermore, through preventive method and therapeutic approach, it can be divided into a number of special techniques that are appropriate to the spiritual disease experienced. From the point of application, this study found out that Miskawayh's method of psychotherapy techniques are being used by the professional Muslim women in the state of Johor. By and large, it can be concluded that Miskawayh has offered an appropriate method of psychotherapy that is applicable in Islamic society for the prevention and treatment of psychological diseases.,Ph.D | - |
