dc.descriptionThis study aimed to identify the training needs of in-service educational primary school teachers in the city of Benghazi. This study used a descriptive approach, which employed a set of questionnaire for quantitative data collection, and the interviews for qualitative data. The study found that the most important training needs of teachers in primary school are :(a) The training to improve student behavior from through the development of codes of conduct for pupils since the beginning of the school year; (b) The training on how to identify the weaknesses of students in preparation for treatment; (c) The training to take into account individual differences among students in the implementation of the curriculum textbook; (d) The training on the formulation of questions to develops the creative thinking skills among pupils; (e) The training on the use of computers in education; and (f) The Training to diversify the triggers to grab the attention of students. This study recommend (a) Provide appropriate classrooms as well as various incentives that encourage the student to work ,( b) The work on the preparation of teachers specialized in the field of evaluation and testing;(c) . The government should develop programmes to train teachers, and training programmes contribute to the development of thinking skills; (d) preparation of training programs contribute to the development of thinking skills;(e) in- service teacher training in the methods and the foundation of good planning for lesson; (f) prepare training programs for teachers in the field of the current methods and techniques in teaching.,"Certification of Master's/Doctoral Thesis" is not available,Ph.D.-
