Description: Pemindahan pembelajaran ialah isu yang sangat kritikal di mana kajian-kajian lepas mendapati kurang daripada 15 hingga 20 peratus hasil pembelajaran di institusi latihan dapat diaplikasikan di tempat kerja yang melibatkan pengetahuan, kemahiran dan sikap pelatih. Kegagalan pemindahan pembelajaran ini melibatkan pelbagai faktor seperti bidang latihan, tahap persijilan, tenaga pengajar, kemudahan dan pengiktirafan industri. Kesannya, pelatih sukar melakukan tugas dengan baik kerana tidak menepati kehendak majikan. Oleh itu, tujuan kajian dilakukan untuk mengenal pasti dan meramal hubungan di antara setiap faktor-faktor pemindahan pembelajaran dari sistem latihan kemahiran berasaskan Standard Kemahiran Pekerjaan Kebangsaan (NOSS). Reka bentuk penerokaan bercampur yang melibatkan dua fasa digunakan. Pertama, kajian kes melibatkan 11 orang responden yang terdiri daripada pengajar, panel NOSS, majikan dan bekas pelatih untuk meneroka fenomena pemindahan pembelajaran. Data ini dikutip melalui temu bual berdepan, perbincangan kumpulan berfokus dan pemerhatian. Data dianalisis menggunakan kaedah analisis tema untuk mengenal pasti tema-tema. Kedua, kajian tinjauan melalui edaran soal selidik kepada 309 pelatih Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia dilakukan untuk menggeneralisasikan dapatan kajian kes. Data kajian tinjauan dianalisis menggunakan Permodelan Kuasa Dua Separa Terkecil (PLS-SEM) untuk meramal hubungan di antara konstruk-konstruk. Dapatan kajian kes mendapati wujud lima tema, 20 sub tema dan 65 kod. Manakala dapatan kajian tinjauan pula menunjukkan konstruk-konstruk model adalah sah dan dipercayai. Dapatan juga menunjukkan konstruk persekitaran kerja merupakan konstruk yang paling mempengaruhi pemindahan pembelajaran diikuti dengan konstruk reka bentuk latihan, ciri-ciri pelatih dan ruang pembelajaran maya. Selain itu, wujud dua hubungan yang tidak signifikan iaitu di antara konstruk ciri-ciri pelatih dan ruang pembelajaran maya terhadap konstruk pemindahan pembelajaran (pengekalan dan generalisasi). Akhirnya, satu model pemindahan pembelajaran sistem latihan kemahiran berasaskan NOSS dihasilkan. Implikasinya ialah institut-institut latihan perlu memberi perhatian kepada faktor-faktor yang terdapat dalam model dengan mengambil kira kedua-dua konteks pembelajaran iaitu di institut latihan dan tempat kerja.,Ph.D,Transfer of learning is a very critical issue which is previous studies found that less than 15 to 20 percent of learning outcomes in training institutions can be applied in the workplace. Failure to learning transfer involve various factors such as area of training, certification level, instructors, facilities and industry recognition. This causes trainees to face difficulties at their workplace due to incompliance to the employer requirements. Thus, this study investigates the learning transfer factors and association among the factors of skills training system based on National Occupational Skills Standards (NOSS). An exploratory sequential mixed method approach was implemented that involve two phases. First, a case study was conducted with 11 respondents, which were the instructor, the NOSS panel, employers and former trainees to explore the learning transfer phenomena.The data was collected via face interviews, focus group discussions and observations. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify on theme. Secondly, a survey via questionnaires were distributed to 309 trainees of Malaysian Skills Certificate to generalize the findings of the case study. As for quantitative data, Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was used to predict the relationship between the constructs. The findings of the case study revealed that there are five themes, 20 sub themes and 65 sub codes. For the survey, findings revealed that the constructs of the model are valid and reliable. It indicated that the work environment constructs is the most important construct in learning transfer, followed by training design, trainee's characteristics and virtual learning space. The results also indicated that there are two insignificant relationships, which are: between trainee characteristics and virtual learning spaces to learning transfer (generalizations and retention construct). Finally, a learning transfer model for skills training system based on NOSS was produced. The implication is that the training institutes need to pay attention to the features found in the model that takes into account the both learning context which in training institutes and workplace learning.
