Description: Computing with words (or information) is a new paradigm in soft computing. Computing with words (CW) has offered an approach to precise natural language (NL) propositions and more importantly doing computation and reasoning based on the precised propositions. Ontological methodology can be viewed as a position of centrality in this paradigm in two aspects. Firstly it can help us to translate NL propositions to canonical form of CW (X isr R) which is an essential problem for applications of this theory. More importantly, it can be viewed as an extension of semantic web. Semantic web is the next generation of web that prepares a foundation for machines information understanding through a kind of formal knowledge representation. However, information essentially are imprecise rather than precise and CW as an information precision approach can help ontologies to develop a clearer model of information in semantic web. This work is based on ontology web language (OWL) which is the W3C standard for semantic web. Offered OWL ontology is consisted of two main ontologies, fuzzy ontology and domain ontologies. Fuzzy ontology prepares an infrastructure for other ontologies to model their information more precisely and tackle uncertainty. In fuzzy ontology, according to RDF standard for the triple of subject-predicate-object, X and isr and R are subject, predicate and object respectively. The main objective of this study is developing CW via an ontological methodology. For this aim, we have done a kind of fact classification based on different types of constraint variables and partiality of concepts. And secondly we have applied the ontology for precisiation of information in a restricted domain QA system for estimating the risk of breast cancer. In the QA system all information aboutcase study are imprecise rather than precise, and we have shown how CW-based ontological architecture deals with vagueness of information for deducting the answer to the input query.,“Certification of Master’s/Doctoral Thesis” is not available,Master Information Technology
