dc.descriptionThe present research sought to investigate the relationship between organisational justice and the dimensions of job satisfaction of physical education teachers. The research method was descriptive, in general, and correlational, in particular. The population included all the 275 physical education teachers of the city of Khorramabad, Iran in the academic year 2013-14. Out of this population, applying Krejcie and Morgan’s formula for Sample Size Determination, 162 individuals were selected, using stratified random sampling. The data collection instruments were Niehoff and Moorman’s Organisational Justice Questionnaire and Wysocki and Kromm’s Job Satisfaction Questionnaire. The data were analysed by running the Pearson Correlation Coefficient and Multiple Regression. The results indicated that there is a positive and meaningful correlation between the components of organisational justice and dimensions of job satisfaction. Regression analysis showed that out of the components of organisational justice, distributive justice has the capability of predicting all dimensions of job satisfaction. Moreover, procedural justice has the capability to predict satisfaction with co-workers and their supervisors. Finally, interactive justice does not contribute to the dimensions of job satisfaction.
