dc.description | This study examined the effects of PowerPoint presentation on sophomore university students’ performance and attitudes. The participants from intact classes were randomly assigned into experimental and control groups; the experimental group was instructed via PowerPointpresentationsalongwiththetextbook in simple prose texts whereas the control group was taught only through the textbook. The results of an independent sample t-test demonstrated that the experimental group outperformed the control group in terms of their post-test scores.
