dc.descriptionThe thesis is concerning the spaces of normalized analytic functions and p-valent analytic functions in the unit disk, and meromorphic and p-valent meromorphic functions in the punctured unit disk. On the space of meromorphic functions, two new integral operators are defined, and with the help of known criteria, some properties for the integral operators are derived. In addition, new families of certain subclasses of complex order are introduced. Further, some new criteria for meromorphic functions to be starlike of order α are obtained, and new arguments properties are derived. Throughthesenewsubclassesandcriteria,severalpropertiesforthementionedintegral operators are studied. Next, new subclass of meromorphic functions of complex order is also defined. Then, a non-linear functional involving the first two coefficients is derived. In addition, a representation theorem, a necessary and sufficient condition, and a subordination result for functions belong to this subclass are also obtained. For the class of normalized analytic functions and with the help of certain particular mathematical function, called basic hypergeometric function, the technique of the Hadamard product (or convolution) is employed to introduce new general operator. Then, embedding this operator in the so-called q-derivative, new subclass of analytic functionsisdefined. Inaddition, byutilizingthegeneraloperator, anothernewsubclass is also introduced. Some properties include the coefficient estimates, extreme points, integral means and neighbourhood are investigated. Moreover, several properties for known integral operators of univalent and p-valent functions are also studied. Finally, two new integral operators and two subclasses of p-valent meromorphic functions are introduced and some starlikeness properties are obtained.,Certification of Master's / Doctoral Thesis" is not available
