It is proven to have a significant influence on the worker safety behaviour. Among the factors that form organisational safety climate are employers' commitment, provision of safety training and education, provision of personal protective equipment, safety communication, and so on. Therefore, this study aimed to identify factors that contribute to the formation of the organizational safety climate in the Malaysian context. Apart from that, this research attempted to measure the level of organizational safety climate and its relationship with worker safety behaviour. The study also included supervisor's leadership style as a moderating variable in influencing the direct relationship between organizational safety climate and worker safety behaviour. The population were healthcare workers in the Emergency and Trauma Department of hospitals under the Ministry of Health, Malaysia. A total of 500 questionnaires were distributed to the respondents. Only 430 questionnaires were used for data analysis. The level of worker safety behaviour as a whole was at low level, whereas the level of organisational safety climate was moderate. Partial Least Squares analysis found that there were nine factors formed the organisational safety climate in this study. Those factors were employers' commitment, provision of safety training and education, provision of personal protective equipment, safety communication, safety feedback, interaction with patients, teamwork, perception on safety level and work risk. All of these factors had a direct relationship with worker safety behaviour. The study also succeeded in proving that there was a direct and indirect relationship between transactional leadership style exhibited by supervisors on worker safety behaviour than transformational leadership style. Overall, this study proved that supervisor's leadership style had a significant influence on worker safety behaviour and it should be emphasised by the supervisors at the workplace.,PhD-
