dc.descriptionThis study elucidates daily struggles experienced by Palestinian people facing various oppressions and aggressions against their fundamental rights that leads to insecurities such as elimination the feelings of peace and tranquility. The impacts of those oppressions and aggressions are huge as they create social communication breakdowns among the people that leads to societies' relationships disorder. One of the factors that create hardships to the Palestinian people is the enforcement of military security checkpoints that aim to monitor and control people's movement and activities across the cities and villages. The objective of the study is to identify the effects of losing peace and security among individuals or civilians in affected areas. It also aims to propose practical solutions to achieve peace and security such as strengthening brotherhood for the sake of Allah among the civilians, maintaining social solidarity and giving full support to leaders. This study employs inductive methods by collecting data from the primary sources through library research and internet sources. The study employs analytical approach to seek answers from the questionnaires given to the respondents who are the families of the detainees. The questionnaire consists of 40 questions and they are statistically analyzed by using SPSS. The findings show that the most affected victims of those aggressions and oppressions in terms of psychological, economic, educational and social perspectives are the wives and the children of the detainees. That is because as for them, their husbands or fathers are the source of peace and tranquility in the families. The study discovers that individuals with higher education are more compassion toward others compared to those who has no education in terms of their efforts in the formation of social relations and social interactions by sharing their grief and taking care of the detainees. The implication of this study is to promote secondary and primary school principals to organize courses and seminars relates to peace and security to their students. The purpose of the course or seminar is to assist and motivate the students to continue their school and education despite facing hardships and struggles.
