Description: This study addresses the originality of Arabic syntax according to the Orientalists' views as some of the Orientalists try to question the originality of Arabic syntax idea and the religion of Islam itself. They continuously attempt to show that Islam is a man inspired religion, not the Divine religion by targeting Arabic as the instrument of explaining the Islamic pillars where they intensely doubt the accuracy of the Arabic syntax sources based on the syntactical evidences from the Noble Qur'an and the Hadith of the Prophet. This study intends to expose and crush the doubts of the Orientalists over the originality of Arabic syntax idea and its relationship with ancient Hellenistic syntax and the syntax of Aristotle; explain the response of the grammarians to the suspicions throughout the periods of time and collect it in a single compilation; and elucidate the originality of Arabic syntax. Having said so, this study adopts library research methodology, analytical and descriptive approach, historical analysis and the approach of comparison between Arabic and Western syntaxes which means explaining the goals of the doubting of Arabic syntax and the relationship between Arabic language and the religion of Islam. To conclude, this study finds that there are two types of the Orientalists, i.e. fair critics and doubters in regards to the originality of Arabic syntax; that the orientalist studies focus on Arabic language and the religion of Islam, ignoring such disciplines as medication, architecture and astronomy; that the spread of Western intellectualism among the Arabs and Muslims is considered the most important of orientalism causes; and that Western knowledge revolution channelled through magazines, forums and information media is considered the most significant medium of influencing the Arab minds. This study may help the institutions concerned with orientalism to get to know the causes behind orientalism; the relationship of Arabic language with the religion of Islam through the viewpoint of the Orientalists; and the development of orientalism throughout the ages till nowadays.,Certification of Master's/Doctoral Thesis" is not available
