dc.description | Enterprise Resource Planning and Business Intelligence (ERPBI) has been highlighted as having a major role to play in the institutional management of SMEs in Saudi Arabia’s private sector. According to prior studies in literature, there is no specific model that supports and explains ERPBI adoption and as such, this increases the chances of ineffective adoption and use of ERPBI. In order to improve business, a new model is required to facilitate individual performance, and the effective use of ERPBI needs the investigation into factors that can facilitate smooth system adoption. This study found that ERPBI adoption models are lacking and those that exist are inapplicable as they exclude several major factors for successful adoption. Therefore, the aim of this study is to propose a model for ERPBI adoption among SMEs of Saudi Arabia to promote increasing the performance of the employees. An online survey questionnaires was passed and distributed to 357 respondents in three selected SMEs. The analyzing of the collected data was done using PLS-SEM 3 statistical software. The finding revealed that technological, organizational and environmental factors were significant and positively affect ERPBI adoption. The study also showed that ERPBI adoption was found to be significant and positively affect employees’ performance. All the factors were found to be significant and accounted significant variance in the ERPBI adoption, while the ERPBI adoption explains also gained sufficient of the variance extracted from performance. The findings open up a new line of research into the systemic integration of ERPBI systems. Thus this study adds to the body of knowledge by providing measurements of the various factors that are classified under the technological, organizational and environmental dimensions incorporating with ERPBI adoption and individual performance integrated into one model which has not done before.,Master of Information Technology | |
