dc.description | Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji perspektif guru penasihat kokurikulum terhadap peranan pengetua dalam pengurusan kokurikulum di sekolah-sekolah menengah kebangsaan di Zon Keramat, Kuala Lumpur .Peranan pengetua dikaji berdasarkan aspek sebagai perancang, pengelola, pemimpin dan pengawal kokurikulum. Kajian berbentuk kuantitatif yang menggunakan kaedah tinjauan ini juga cuba melihat perbezaan peranan pengetua dalam pengurusan kokurikulum dengan factor demografi seperti jantina, gred sekolah dan pengalaman bertugas serta hubungan dengan pencapaian kokurikulum sekolah. Sampel kajian terdiri daripada 323 orang guru yang sedang berkhidmat dan memegang tugas sebagai penasihat kokurikulum di 12 buah sekolah menengah kebangsaan di Zon Keramat, Kuala Lumpur. Pemilihan sampel dibuat secara rawak mudah. Pengumpulan data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan soal selidik yang telah mendapatkan kesahan serta kebolehpercayaan mengikut konteks tempatan. Analisis deskriptif yang melibatkan min dan sisihan piawai mendapati perspektif guru terhadap peranan pengetua dari aspek sebagai perancang adalah tinggi (min=3.79), dari aspek sebagai pengelola adalah tinggi (min=3.81), dari aspek sebagai pemimpin adalah tinggi (min=3.79), dan dari aspek sebagai pengawal juga adalah tinggi (min=3.90). Analisi sujian MANOVA mendapati terdapat perbezaan yang signifikan perspektif guru terhadap peranan pengetua dalam pengurusan kokurikulum berdasarkan gred sekolah dan pengalaman bertugas. Ujian Mann Whitney U juga mendapati terdapat perbezaan yang signifikan perspektif guru terhadap peranan pengetua dalam pengurusan kokurikulum sekolah sebagai perancang berdasarkan jantina. Kesimpulannya, dapatan kajian ini menunjukkan pentingnya pengetua di sekolah mempraktikkan peranan pengurusan yang berkesan agar para guru dan pelajar akan lebih bermotivasi dalam memastikan kejayaan pelaksanaan aktiviti kokurikulum di sekolah.,This study aims to examine the perspective of cocurricularadvisory teacher towards the role of principal inmanagingthecocurricularatnationalsecondary schools in the Zone of Keramat, Kuala Lumpur. The role of principal is examined based on the aspects as planner, coordinator, leader and controller of cocurricular. This quantitative study using survey technic also attempts to see the difference in the role of principal in the management of cocurricular against the demographic factors such as gender, school grades and experience as well as the relationship with the school’s achievement in cocurricular. The sample studies consists of 323 teachers who are currently serving and hold the task as an advisor of cocurricular in 12 national secondary schools in the Zone of Keramat, Kuala Lumpur. The sample selection is based on simple random. The collection of data uses the questionnaire that has been attested and accredited as following the local context. Descriptive analysis that involves sophisticated min deviation finds that the role of principal in the aspects as planner is at a high level (min=3.79), coordinator is at a high level (min=3.81), leader is at a high level (min=3.79) and controller of cocurricularisat a high level (min=3.90). MANOVA test analysis findsthat there is a significant difference of perspectives on the role of principal in managing cocurricular based on school grade and experience.Mann Whitney U test also finds that there is a significant difference of perspectives on the role of the planner in the management of school cocurricular as a planner based on gender. In conclusion, the finding of this study shows the importance of a school principal to practice effective management role so that teachers and students are more motivated to ensure the success of cocurricular activities in school.,Master/Sarjana | |
