dc.descriptionIn the West Bank, Palestine, women represent 2/3 of the entire population. Although Da'wah movement through organizations led by women has been highly pressured, these organizations have successfully managed activities. These efforts should be assessed wisely since women are the largest target group of da'wah. To further develop their efforts, the self-assessment should be made to find the weaknesses that can be improved and this movement should also be viewed from the perspective of the other women's movement in another country. Therefore, this study is aimed at defining works of al-da'wah through women organization and its role in Palestine to develop and to improve the society as well as to evaluate its competency. To achieve this objective, this study uses the descriptive analysis to examine the performance of this type organization. A total of 35 performance tests are given to women activists of al-da'wah who work in seven women organizations in Palestine. This instrument is used as a method to gather data and then to apply and to analyse and to get the percentage and average using SPSS. The result of analysis shows a positive attitude of most respondents to all elements of activities in which the frequency is 8.0 out of 10.0. This study has found a several results and suggestions, among others are; these organizations have taken organizational works as a method to achieve its objectives in the reality. The study found a good achievement in these organizations related to the components of organizational work such as the planning, administration and financial management. Meanwhile, the study also found some negative aspects especially related to small number of women activists of al-da'wah and little attention to the leadership training of these activists. The study calls for the need to improve work of al-da'wah in women organization and pay the attention to nurture women activists of al-da'wah through training and development programme as well as by increasing researches in this field.,Certification of Master's/Doctoral Thesis" is not available
