dc.descriptionProgram j-QAF yang telah dilaksanakan bermula pada tahun 2005 sehinggalah sekarang telah memberi impak yang besar dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran Pendidikan Islam sekolah rendah di seluruh Malaysia secara umumnya dan pengajaran Tilawah Al-Quran secara khususnya. Matlamat utama program j-QAF ini adalah untuk memastikan murid berupaya membaca al-Quran mengikut sukatan serta khatam al-Quran sebelum berpindah ke sekolah menengah. Pelaksanaan projek rintis oleh Bahagian Kurikulum, Jabatan Pendidikan Islam dan Moral, Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia mendapat maklum balas bahawa murid tahun dua yang terlibat dengan program j-QAF kohort 2005 masih belum menguasai Iqra'1 hingga 3. Dapatan data yang diambil daripada bahagian pengurusan j-QAF, Pejabat Pelajaran Daerah Hulu Langat juga mendapati murid tahun enam pada tahun 2011 yang belum khatam al-Quran adalah seramai 421 orang daripada 5067 orang pelajar. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti respon murid terhadap pelaksanaan Model Enam Bulan Khatam al-Quran dan Tasmik ke arah pemantapan kemahiran al-Quran dalam kalangan murid sekolah di Hulu Langat. Kajian ini telah dijalankan di lima buah sekolah kebangsaan di Hulu Langat. Seramai 90 orang murid di daerah Hulu Langat menjadi responden utama kajian ini. Kajian ini dijalankan dalam bentuk tinjauan dengan menggunakan metod kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Alat ukuran yang digunakan ialah melalui kajian kepustakaan, analisa data dan soal selidik. Kajian kepustakaan digunakan dengan pengumpulan dokumen untuk melihat perkembangan sukatan bahagian Tilawah al-Quran Pendidikan Islam yang membawa kepada tercetusnya Model Enam Bulan Khatam al-Quran dan Tasmik ini. Data-data yang dianalisis diambil daripada laporan pencapaian tiga tahun terkini di bahagian pengurusan j-QAF, Pejabat Pelajaran Daerah Hulu Langat. Soal selidik digunakan untuk mengenalpasti respon murid dalam melaksanakan program ini. Data dianalisis melalui Program Sistem Statistik Pukal Sains Sosial (Statistical Package For The Sosial Sciences/SPSS) yang menggunakan statistik deskriptif seperti peratusan dan min. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa pencapaian Enam Bulan Khatam al-Quran dan Tasmik di kalangan murid adalah sederhana mengikut tempoh yang dicadangkan dalam sukatan. Keseluruhan pencapaian khatam al-Quran adalah sama mengikut sekolah. Walaupun begitu, sokongan ibu bapa amat penting bagi memastikan anak mereka menghadiri kelas Tasmik ini mengikut jadual. Guru Pendidikan Islam dan j-QAF juga harus sentiasa berganding bahu dalam meningkatkan kaedah pembelajaran yang bersesuaian mengikut tahap kemampuan murid. Pemantauan berterusan perlu dijalankan dari masa ke semasa oleh pihak sekolah, ibu bapa dan Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia.,J-QAF programme implemented beginning 2005 until now has been a significant impact on the teaching and learning in primary schools of Islamic Education in Malaysia in general and the teaching of the Quran recitation in particular. The main target of the j-QAF programme is students ability in reading the Quran based on syllabus, besides completing the reading of the Quran before moving to secondary school. The implementation of the pilot project by the Division of Curriculum, Islamic and Moral Education Department, Ministry of Education Malaysia receives a feedback that year two students involved in the j-QAF programme cohort 2005 still have not mastered the Iqra' 1 to 3. The data taken from the j-QAF management, Hulu Langat Education Office also indicate that year six students in 2011, who have yet to complete the reading are about 421 from the total 5067 students. This study aims to determine the students' response to the implementation of the Six Months Quranic Completion and Tasmik Model towards the establishment of the Quran skills among school students in Hulu Langat. This study is performed in five primary schools in the Hulu Langat. There are 90 students being made the main respondents for this study. This study is a survey research, using quantitative and qualitative methods. The assessment tools used are library research, data analysis and questionnaires. The library research is of the collected documents to evaluate the developed syllabus of the Quran recitation of the Islamic educational programme leading to the culmination of the ceremonius Quran completion. The data to be analysed are collected the last three years' achievement report provided by the j-QAF management, Hulu Langat Education Office. The questionnaires are used to identify the students' response to the implemented programme. All data are analyzed using the Statistical Package For The Social Science ( SPSS ) that is built on descriptive statistics such as percentage and min. The results show that the achievement of The Six Months Quranic completion and Tasmik among the students is moderate according to the duration proposed in the syllabus.The overall achievement of the Quran completion is similar for all of the schools. However, parental support is very important for ensuring that their children attend this Tasmik according to the timetable of the class. Islamic education and j-QAF teachers should constantly collaborate on improving appropriate learning methods based on the students 'capability level. Constant monitoring should also be carried out from time to time by the school authorities, parents and the Ministry of Education Malaysia.,Master-
