Description: The unity of religious believers is the main agenda in maintaining the harmony of the multi-religious society in Malaysia. However, raised issues that affect religious sensitivity and the unity of religious believers, such as celebrating other religious festivals, visiting weddings, and attending the deaths of different religions. This is due to the lack of understanding of religious sensitivities, disrespect for religious rights and sensitivities as well as the influence of the social environment. Therefore, objective of this study to identify the concept of religious sensitivity and sensitive religious issues that occur in the social relations of religious communities and analyze the relationship between attitudes and subjective norms (social environment) with religious sensitivity behaviors. The study was conducted in the Klang Valley and involved 384 respondents comprising 56% Muslims, 29% Buddhists, 11% Hindus, and 4% Christians. The study used a questionnaire instrument and was distributed online. The findings were analyzed using SPSS 23.0 software. The content analysis results found that all religions have things that make the followers of their respective religions unhappy. Descriptive analysis showed that the most sensitive issue, according to the majority of respondents, was the issue of ridiculing religious practices or rituals. In contrast, the least sensitive issue was the issue of attending death ceremonies of other religions. Findings of inferential analysis using the Pearson correlation method showed a significant relationship between attitudes and behaviors of religious sensitivity where the value of r = 0.438 and p <0.05. The strength of the correlation recorded is at a moderate level. Subsequent findings recorded a significant relationship between subjective norms and religious sensitivity behaviors where the value of r = 0.263 and p <0.05, but the strength of the correlation was weak. Thus, the study concluded the factors that drive religious sensitivity behaviors are positive attitudes towards such behaviors and good influences from family, friends, neighbors, teachers, and social media. The main contribution of this study is to provide guidelines related to sensitive matters that need to be respected in the implementation of tolerance between religions to ensure religious harmony in Malaysia.,Sarjana Pengajian Islam
