dc.description	IKMAS High Level Public Lecture is celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the Malaysian - Cuba Bilateral Relations.UKM is indeed honored to co-host this auspicious event together with the Embassy of Cuba in Malaysia.The Malaysia-Cuba diplomatic relations was established officially on Feb 6, 1975.To establish diplomatic relations with Cuba, or even the People�s Republic of China which was done almost a year earlier in May 1974, under conditions of the Cold War then was no mean feat. It required the vision and resolve of a visionary leader like Tun Razak who championed the policy of non-alignment in foreign relations, and who could see the benefits that would accrue to Malaysia and the developing world with such an innovative and strategic move.
