| Description: | The official signing of Memorandum of Agreement between IJN and UKM.3 years ago both of us have sign a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance our relationship and the development of cardiothoracic services at the faculty. Based on that MoU, we have sent few batches of nurses and perfusionist to further their training at IJN. On the other part, we have appointed few Consultants from IJN to be our visiting lecturer at various disciplines, especially cardiothoracic surgical unit.This arrangement has a tremendous effect on the progress of cardiothoracic services at UKM Medical Centre. Recently, UKM has identified Heart and Lung Centre as one of the Centre of Excellent.
